De Laurien--
'Rio' Rio is Becky Reed's exciting young
horse! This handsome, Hanoverian gelding is very talented, but
also very challenging! Watch for him this summer as Becky gets him out
and about to shows. Rio has a puppy dog personality and the potential
to go very far in dressage once his 'young brain' catches up!!

Blu's Art In
Motion-- 'Sambuca' Sambuca is the prince
of
Karin Giordano's family.
He is a quarter horse who has the movement to put many to shame. He has had
a varied career so far in his life, but Karin does
some jumping and mostly dressage with him. He's a sweet boy who wants
to please and will excel at first level this year. |

Puttin' On The
Fritz-- 'Fritz' Fritz and his owner Emma
Oppewall have taken the dressage world by surprise! At 14.3 H, you
wouldn't assume this welsh cross gelding would be a threat- but are they
ever! They are practicing hard to make the leap to third level. Emma, Fritz, and Liz Oppewall are some of the most dedicated
rider/horse/mom we have met! We are so happy they are such an integral part
of our crew!

The judges love him almost as much as Kate does! They are a beautiful team who have been quite
successful over the years so far. After a year break from competition, they
are back and ready to hit centerline again! The Weatherbees are a wonderful
part of our barn! |

'Goldie'
This sweet quarter horse mare is owned and adored by
Kathleen Hill.

or a few weeks since her last ride Goldie is always safe and game for
whatever Kathleen wants! |

Star Spangled
Banner-- 'Banner' Becky Holberton
took a chance on this sweet, chestnut AWB gelding. She
doesn't know much about his history but saw a lot of potential. She and
Adrianne Leopold,
under Becky Reed's guidance, are working on bringing this boy along in to a
competitive dressage horse. |
| |
'Cheyenne'
The cutest pony of the barn title goes to Kathleen
Hill's other pony Cheyenne. She is a very small paint pony intended to be
company for her big sister, Goldie. She is an uncomplicated ride for smaller
riders and loves to jump! Mostly she loves when Kathleen comes out to spoil
her with apples and carrots! Don't forget to look in when you pass her
stall- otherwise you might miss her! |

Ducati-- 'Dukie'
Brianne Parent finally has her first pony!!
Brianne has been with us for one year as a lesson student, diligently
working away at refining her skills to one day have her own horse.
Well, that time just came! Ducati is a wonderful pony for Brianne to
learn and grow with. Ducati is a very good boy on the flat, and
especially over fences. He's just enough of a challenge to keep
Brianne on her toes!! What a great team these two will be! Watch
our for Brianne and Ducati at schooling and jumper shows this fall!
The Parent family is a wonderful addition to the barn and we look forward to

Kitty Mitchell. Moosi came to us "just for winter boarding" a long time
ago and hasn't left yet. Moosi and Kitty are dressage enthusiasts that
are often seen exploring distractions on the trails and, occasionally, over
stadium jumps. Moosi gave birth to a beautiful filly by Fabuleux in June of
2009!
Congratulations to Moosi, Kitty, and baby Franconia 'Frankie'!! |

so happy that Sarah and Dante have found each other! Sarah has been one of
our best employees for a while now and deserves to have a horse like Dante
to work with!

Fievel
Karin Giordano wanted a well schooled horse to
teach her more about dressage and she found it in Fievel! He is a Han
cross gelding shown through second level, training third level. While he
doesn't fit Karin's typically black color scheme, he has already taught her
a lot- that she can then teach her other horse Buca! We look forward to
seeing them in the show ring this year!

'Dean'
Dean is an older warmblood gelding who is a welcomed
addition to Jenn Kent's
family. She loves trail riding and is looking forward to learning more about
dressage. He is an easy guy to be around and has a lot to offer Jenn. |
 |
Mr. Bojangles--
'Bo' Bo is Emma Oppewall's faithful older
pony. Back when they were both younger he piloted her around her first 2 and
3 phase events, taught her to fall off, to trail ride, and how to love your
horse- even when he's not always so honest. Now Bo is older and, most days,
quieter and Emma has passed him on to her mom, Liz. Liz frets over
him, trail rides him and makes him feel like the horse he once was "and
always will be". |
